Finally Sleeping!

After another stint of controlled crying, we seem to have finally cracked it .... Jacob has slept through the night 7pm-7am for the past 6 nights It's only taken 11 months to get it sorted, lol!!!!

Well done. Whats the secret? Ellie used to sleep through 7:30 - 7:30 but since she turned around 6months shes been waking at least once a night. For a feed and often a dirty nappy. Thanks.

I am amazed by the total turnaround we have had, I don't want to say too much incase it all goes wrong but I think the trick has been to stick to the same time each night (we used to bath him when he looked tired, bad I know but it was easier that way) and be strict with the controlled crying (we used to get him out if it was taking a long time) one night we were up for over 2 hours in the middle of the night but we stuck to it and he did eventually fall asleep. It's lovely to finally have the evenings to ourselves
