Hey all well i have decided to start charting etc but as im a total dimwit i might need all you pro's out there help on this any help would be much appreciated -xxx- Btw thanks happy_chick for you advice so far

Well ok im sure im going to have to wait now well af's due on monday i know i cant be pg as today when i wiped there was brownish colour there but its just the whole charting thing i dont really understand happy_chick(jo) has already told me about taking my temp each morning but other than that i dont have a clue how to go about it etc??

when you go into your main chart page you should see a calender above the chart. If you click on todays date, you can then enter your temp, time temp was taken (this is important as it needs to be around the same time give or take 30 mins or so), any CM youve had, if you baby danced etc, and then if you click the specific tab, you can put in other stuff like tender boobs, cramps etc.

Once you start putting this data in, you'll start to see your temps plotted on the chart, and then eventually FF will put in a vertical red line when it detects ovulation. It does this when you have 3 days of rising temps, so you may not see the ov line until 3 days after. It will also give you a horizontal red line which is a cover line - its not really for anything other than a visual tool to see the difference between your high and low temps.

It will take a couple of cycles for you to start seeing recurring patterns, but the more you use it the more you'll get the hang of it and you'l seen be one of the many charting experts on here

charting is taking your BBT (Basal Body Temp - your temp after sleep before any activity), and plotting it on a chart along with other signs such as mucus texture. Its really helpful as your BBT can tell you exactly when you ovulate so you can time you baby dances more efficiently

You can find the link by clicking on Sharing on the menu the 'Home Page Setup' then you will see a URL at the top of the page. Copy and paste the URL into the signature section of your profile on the forum.

Finding brown spotting 3 days early could be implantation spotting - I wouldn't rule out being pregnant yet
