Feels like period pains

Just over 6 weeks pregnant and today I feel really crampy, like I have period pains. Is this normal can anyone advise please? Previous miscarriage and very unsure.

Hi

After having a previous miscarriage you're bound to be nervous, but I wouldn't worry. Period-style pains in the first trimester are totally normal, it's just everything moving around and stretching to make room for baby to grow. I've had them pretty much constantly this time (10 weeks now) and did with my first, so it's perfectly normal. If you're worried though the advice is always to seek medical advice.

i had really bad period pains before i found out i was pregnant and probably lasted till about 9 weeks. I was expecting my period to turn up. As long as theres no bleeding everything should be ok.

I too am having pains i have serious back ache right down the bottom and all across.My tummy pain is like cramps and sometimes a tugging feeling!!!I have been so worried about them i even went to A and E the other day but theres not alot they can say just take it easy as its so very early and that if m gonna loose it then i am theres nothing anyone can do alot easier said than done!!!!
