well after been told sat there was a 50/50 chance of going into labour have having the steroid injections me and my partner had totally gotten in the frame of mind that the next day we would have our boy.

by the night time my contractions had competely stopped and i hadnt dialated.

we are a bit gutted,but i feel really guilty for feeling like that, i shoud e happy he is still tucked up safely, i know its only 30 days left and im more likely to have him before my due date

i cant help but get all excited when i feel pain but then it stops

I think what u are feeling is normal. You are getting yourself psyched up for his arrival - whenever that might be x

i just keep thinking oooo its started, and belly has dropped so low, and so much pressure down there when i stand up but then nothing

Try and relax as much as you can.. adrenalin etc can cause contractions to stop.. my sister was in labour and both times she got in the car to go to the hospital they stopped completely.. when she got back indoors at home they came strong again

I'm exactly the same, don't feel bad about it! Every little stomach twinge I keep thinking please make this be it! Even though I only have 26 days, and mine will probably be early because he's so big!

I think it's just because we've been pregnant for so long now and it's getting so close that the excitement is taking over!!

Haha I don't have any patience either!

Thought that was probably why, the signal always seems to be bad in hospitals!
