feeding intervals

Can you tell me if 3 hourly seems ok for feedingd during day for a nearly 6 week old? SHe has always been a hungry baby but people tell me she shouldnt be fed this often and others say its normal. How can i not feed her if she is screaming for food?!

I'd say perfectly normal - Dylan sometimes feeds more than every 3 hours. I just feed him when he's hungry x

Poppy used to feed every 2 hours and she didn't stretch to 3 hours until she was around 3 months old.

Both mine have fed two hourly, sometimes extending to 3 and longer over night. Don't forget her tummy is still only very very tiny so can only hold small amounts of milk that she'll digest quickly. 6 weeks is also a prime growth spurt time

hope you and bubs are doing well.

Asher feeds bang on every 3 hours during the day and longer at night. He's now 4 weeks old. He's done the 3 hourly thing since birth.

Alex feeds every 2 hours, apart from during the night when he goes anywhere inbetween 2-6 hours, it depends on his mood lol.

During the day though he always seems to want it every 2 hours.
