feeding ALOT!!

hi girls,
well ellie got into a routine of feeding every 4hrs well recently over the weekend and since its gone out the window she seems to be feeding every 2 hrs taking about 2-4 oz!! shall i just go with it? cud it be a growth spurt?

Connor is just over a month now and I'm having the same problem. He'll look for a bottle every two hours and take between 2-4oz - sometimes even 5 if he's really hungry.

According to the books he should be taking 2.5oz per 1lb of his body weight so if he's 9lb 6oz now he should be taking 24 oz per day.

So far today (From midnight) he's taken 15 oz and had five feeds!

He's getting weighed this afternoon - see if the HV says anything about it.

What are you feeding Ellie on? Connor is on C&G1 but I'm thinking about changing to C&G2 to see if it satisfys him more...

hi shaz ellie is on sma gold has been since bf didnt work when she was a couple of days old. mayb its not filling her up enough. she is sleeping loads between feeds only waking up for a feed unusual for ellie recently shes been awake and more alert. she is still sleeping well at night though approx 8-9 hrs even though she is sleeping so much in the day xx
