The last week or so my dh has been snoring really badly, I cannot sleep in the same room when hes like it. Hes doing it right now and I cant see the point of even trying to come to bed cos il get annoyed and end up on the sofa as i have done all week. How the baby sleeps through it i dont know.

He then whinges im never in bed anymore, what does he expect?

I dont expect replies im just having a moan cos im peed off with it all.

Poor you
i cant tolotrate snoring :x
have you tried using nasal strips called breathright they worked for mei lso got some spider plants to oygenate the rooms ans opened by window for a few hours a day to let the air circulate i also tired sudufen plugs

Try and get him to the docs to see if they can help if the strips dont work

hope you find a solution soon hun so you can a good night sleep
if all else fails hold his nose till he wakes  i did that to my James
he woke up stopped snoring and i finaly got some sleep :rotfl:

alternatively make him sleep on sofa :rotfl: thats where mine is.

If you get a pillow ..place it over his face and firmly press down..he will probably shuffle about for a while and make some noises during this short process, but be persistant and keep the pillow firmly pressed on his face... the snoring will soon stop!

Hey Presto..problemo solved! :rotfl:

Infact, my hubby is snoring now...I think I'll go and take my own advice! :D

Drinking Lager in the evening makes my hubby snore! Since he's cut down on his drinking my nights are so much more peaceful!

If your hubby drinks, ask him to cut down and see what happens!

kick him out of the bed i did with my OH whilst i was pregnant as he used to piss me off something chronic!!!!!

Thats so funny! :rotfl:

I did end up on the sofa again but im glad I was as Imogen woke up and he had to feed her :cheer: and i slept on soundly 8)

You know what, my mum got that peed off with my dad when we were little within 2 month he was in hospital having an op.
Somthing to do with the bone in his nose, i dunno. But it worked...... he now only snores 10 times worse when he's had a drink....lol.

You should get him to see the doctor if its really bad, although he probably cannot help it, others can't suffer and loose sleep.  My OH only snores when he's on his back, I normally end up nudging him but if it ever gets bad I give him a kick  lol

I would ask him to go to the doctors, if he won't, he'll have to set up camp in the garden...

!! xx

Aw I hope he does something about it and you get to sleep back in your bed soon

my OH snores too

but a combination of no alcohol, lying on his side, and those breathe-right nasal strips has pretty much solved the problem...

hope you get it sorted - its the most annoying thing!!

Get him some of those anti snoring strips, or turn him over from his back

failing that pillow over the face

I heard about a new light thing that you put next to the bed that supposed to be like a miracle cure.

I move the quilt to over OH's face, that makes him change his position without waking him up :)
It drives me mad though, I CANNOT sleep while someone snores.

oh girls, we have tried everything! He had the op done on his nose about 3 yearsgao this month!

The strips did nothing! we tried the flashing light a few years ago as well it was 80 quid and all it did was keep us awake lol!

Im just more annoyed about it cos I feel i have to go to the lounge because he works and I just look after the kids.

Im going to sleep in y bed tonight, if i have too il put stephen in my bed and oh can sleep in little boys room!

My bed is so comfy, have missed it this week :) though the sofa is comfy too and I can watch CSI! :cheer:

No advice really, whenever OH snores it's after a few beers and I just kick him until he wakes up and rolls over and stops..

When you find the cure let me know as my OH does it too and i can't stand it! We spend many nights apart because of it! :x

If you follow my 'pillow-over-the-face' technique I guarantee you will have no further problems! :D

I did it to my hubby last night ... he stopped snoring after a few seconds! Mind you, having said that, he's still in bed now, didnt get up this morning  ! Oh well, Im sure he'll get up when he's hungry! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
