I just wanted to say, people ALWAYS say to me ''ooooo you shouldn't crack your knuckles/knees/wrists etc you will get arthritis'' which I have always said ''yeh well whatever cause half of the time they crack themselves and the rest of the time, there so stiff it hurts to move them, once cracked there ok for a day or so'' and I have now found a real answer - so I guess ive always been kinda correct!
Myth: Cracking your knuckles (or other joints) will give you arthritis.
Fact: Cracking your joints does no damage and, in fact, protects them against arthritis. Researchers at Johns Hopkins University found that osteoarthritis is more often present in those who never crack their joints (fingers, backs, knees) than in those who do. That may be because cracking a joint reduces the space within it and results, at least temporarily, in a greater range of motion and flexibility.
Anyway just wanted to share that with any fellow poppers lol
