IF my baby lets me breastfeed and IF they will also let me use the bottle, is it ok to express milk in the morning and then go out with the baby carrying the bottle with me and giving it to them when they are hungry a few hours later? Theres no way of carrying it around refridgerated! Will it still be ok?

Also, will it need heated up before they'll take it as they will be used to warm milk? Do cafes do this for you? Sorry for the 101 questions today but I need to think about these practical issues!

Yes, when I had to bottle feed EBM I did this often, the info I had said that EBM is ok at room temp for 6-10 hours, so keep it in a sealed bottle and take a teat ready for when you need to use it. If its not used within that time, discard.xx

Thanks for that!! :)

The max' recommended time is 6 hours, so your baby might well be happy to have it at room temperature so you'd be fine.

My LO won't take a bottle, and especially not from me 'cause she knows if she holds out it'll come from the source, just so you're aware, it could be an issue :)

my litle girl will take both breast and expressed milk but she totally refuses to take it at room temperature it has to be warmed up.

What I do now if I know I'm going be out for a few hours and won't be able to brastfeed during that time is I warm the milk before I go out and put it in an insulated bottle bag thing and that keeps it just right for her and if she doesn't have that feed while we're out I give it to her on her next feed just so that it doesn't get wasted.

I warm it up before becasue some places won't warm bottles for you anymore and I don't want to run the risk of having her screaming the place down in the middle of somewhere
