What is dpo is it days past ovulation ?

If that's the case I am 14 days dpo, what does that mean ?, sorry new to this

14dpo (days past ovulation) means you ovulated 14 days ago. So on an average 28 day cycle the period would be due. Ovulation is the time in your cycle when u can conceive. So if you had conceived, you would be 2 weeks pregnant now (or 4 weeks according to the doctor as they date it from your last period which would of been 2 weeks before you ovulated - again based on a 28 day cycle).
