Through the day Jasmine is fine but at night her big feed can take up to 2 hours as she is falling asleep all the time.
Am really finding it frustrating and tried all the blowing in her face tickling etc.

Any thoughts?

I used to spend hours feeding Sam and playing with his ears, blowing on his face etc so I know how you feel! Stripping them down to just their nappy so they're not so warm and comfortable is meant to help but that's not so useful when you want to be able to put them straight to bed when they've finished. Sam did seem to feed well for about the first 20 minutes and then just suck as if he wasn't getting much for ages, so in the end I started taking him off myself once he was asleep and just sort of sucking for comfort and putting him down. I was worried at first that he wouldn't have had enough but he'd sleep for hours afterwards x

George seemed to outgrow this stage by about 4 and a half weeks. Up until then I was also spending ages feeding-blowing on his face, tickling his feet etc. I always found a nappy change refocused him.

Yeah, Evelyn outgrew it by about a month or two :)

thanks girls good to know there is light at the end of the tunnel xx

Drake used to do this, i always used to do a nappy change to wake him up a bit. He rarely does it now so must be a newborn phase.

Forgot about the nappy changes to wake them up too! The number of times I put a new one on to wake one of them up only to have it filled with poo seconds later..

I do the same as Sams mum, If she start comfort sucking, i take her off.. if she notices then i put her back even if she is dopey as anything.. if theres no "tug" and she doesnt notice, I put her down.
