how did u get ur lo to sit? did they do it by themselves?

i followed her lead. Cally kept trying to sit up but couldn't lol. i started sitting her on my knee or propping her up on the sofa, now she can sit unaided for a little while but not long lol. she shouts at me if i lie her down and she wants to sit so will be happy when she masters it.

Luke sits himself up all the time but can't stay there yet. I was wondering if you have to encourage it too. I have been sitting him between my legs more and more to get him used to sitting up.

yeah thats what he's doing, he hates being laid down at the moment

Arghh, sound soooo much like Luke. He hates being harnassed into anything, laying down blah blah blah - he can be quite impossible LMAO

I get scared putting him into his pushchair these days LOL

Snap - funny I don't remember paris being this fussy

Luke was sat on my belly unaided for about 10 seconds last night before the wobbles (his, not my love handles) got him. :D

The baby carrier is a god send at the moment. He'd usually squeal and shriek if left in his pushchair while we shop. He tolerates his carrier much more as he feels more involved with the world and gets to grab whatever daddy is trying to hold onto. I had him in there again tonight while shopping for Debbie's birthday for over an hour without even a whimper.

Its boys LOL

dunno seed never went in pram/pushchair .. bumbo highchair ..anything that she feels restricted in..or had to lie down in. Babies just like to see whats going on.. and get frustrated within thier limitations. :) Some just get more frustrated than others haha ..boys always temper worse thats just the male race.

But Seed is an exception to any rule. Maybe she was meant to be a boy :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I sat on the floor with Imogen between my legs and put some toys in front of her and was there to catch her when she fell. And did this until she could sit up unaided.
