It's tonight isn't it?!?!?!

The storyline that BellyBump told us about....me not want to watch!!!

OMG how sad

I'm not sure if I agree with this storyline. I know that it is trying to raise awareness but it's only going to make new Mum's worry about cot death even more than they do already. I was so worried about it when Jake was newborn and i'm sure that if this storyline was on at the time it would have made me even more worried and anxious.

I really wish I hadn't watched this now- didn't even know it was on and turned over at the wrong time.

God iv havent cried like this for a while!....just brought lots of things back to me.....god im gonna be such a wreck when i do finally have a baby. DEfintalty will get a breathing monitor!
(i know i might sound sad getting so upset over a tv program....)

I was trying to eat my tea at the same time, i found it very hard to swollow my food and keep the tears back.

oh my goodness. it was heartbreaking. i dont think a soap opera has ever moved me so much.

i cannot imagine how a mother can ever cope with such a tragedy. i am terrified of such a thing happening, Ami is high risk of SIDS so i have a saturation monitor on loan from the hospital so i would know as soon as her heart rate dipped which lets me sleep a little more soundly - i could not imagine not having it. it must be so worrying, especially after watching something like that.

it was very well acted. her screams made my blood run cold. as i said before, i just cant imagine how awful it would be.

I Wish To God I Never Watched That

I Was Scared Allready, Now Im Absolutely Petrified :( Heartbreaking.

I Feel So Down Now

it was by far one of the worst things i have seen in a soap, i was crying so much

I just dont know how mums and dads cope with something like that

What!? Iv Never Heard Of This Omg If Id Have Known :o Where Can I Get One & Whats The Most Reliable One? Brilliant

i couldnt watch it  i think the cot death storyline isnt wrong as if they do it right it can raise awareness and also help for those that have been through it if they portray it right ( a big if tho!) what i do think is wrong tho is i have heard and i think bellybump also said this (which i guessed ages ago as well  ) is that they are doing a swapped at birth storyline also. i think this could panic ppl more and to be honest the chances of it happening are very very very small as laurel and the other woman both gave birth in same room which i believe is very rare and babies were taken off them and somewhere else straight away where as most babies are tagged before going anywhere and if its an emergency then the bed is tagged that they are transported in. coronation streets swapped at birth storyline is just about believable but i think if emmerdale go down this route it will be very unbelievable and will also make the cot death storyline alot less purposeful.

i have the angelcare moniter you can get them at most baby stores i know babies r us deffo do them...its worth every penny i would never relax without it!!!!i didnt watch this tonight as i am already scared silly about cot death

omg i broke my heart brought back some very sad memories for us especially when they were holding their baby at the hospital

i agree with the story line and think its good for raising awareness but i really think some scenes were really not necessary
i know the baby was probably a made up doll or something like that but i think showing the dead baby was very disturbing especially for anyone who has already lost a child and i dont believe it was necessary to show the baby for the storyline to work :(

Hi Carly,
I've got the Babysense II Infant Respiratory Baby Monitor. Which I bought as part of a package from here -

http://www.babymonitorsdirect.co.uk/BabyMonitorTypesBreathing+Baby+Monitors.htm

It's brilliant, although the actual alarm is not cordless like some of them. But believe me, once you test it and hear the alarm there is NOOOOO way you'd not hear it!!! It runs on normal AA Batteries.

I've taken it to hotels as well, was so glad I did as the last hotel we stayed in stank to high heaven of new paint and I was convinced the fumes would get to Mhairi!!

Just a Thought But.. If Doctors etc Are Trying To Cut The Number Of Cot Deaths, Why On Earth Dont These Breathing Monitors Become Compulsory? Like Fire Alarms etc..

It wa one of the saddest storylines I've seen in a soap

But I do think it will be spoiled by the baby swap 'copied' from Corrie.
