Emily is teething

I am pretty postive Emily is teething
She is crying for no apparant reason quite alot
Shes dribbling alot and always has her hands in her mouth

She usually likes sucking the bendy bit in my finger and the other day she was really biting down
I have looked in her mouth and on the bottom gum at the front was a little white speckle and now its bigger and theres two and it is quite hard round that area.

Did any of your LO's teeth so early?

faith had a tooth come up when she was about a month old and it went again now its coming up again!!

she dribbles hands in her mouth all the time and has bright red cheeks!

yes Louie was like this from about 8 weeks & he has only just cut his 1 st tooth 3 weeks ago so he teethed for nearly 6 months till a tooth came

Emily might be early with her teeth, hope shes ok hun

Tia started teething at 9 weeks and we had to use dentinox teething gel which you can use from birth.

I cant remember but i think she was just over 4months-ish when her first one came through and the second about 2 weeks after, definitely sounds like teething to me

yes give it a try! you should be able to get it from your local chemist..it cost me £2.25 for a tube, so not bad!!

and its so mild that if they are having a really bad day with it you can re apply after 20 mins, it was an absolute godsend for us

exactly unlike other stuff where i had to wait 3 hours and he wanted more before then

I'm so relieved to have read this, I'm sure Austin has started teething! The last few days he's started dribbling LOADS, he's chewing and sucking on his hands and has pink cheeks! I thought it was far too early to be teething and I was going crazy.

We're going to the docs tomorrow for our 8 week checks (and jabs ) so I'll see if he suggests anything. I'll have a look for that gel too.
