Hi ladies :)

This is my first post in tri 1 (just got my BFP yesterday at 14dpo :) ) and I just went to the loo and saw a little bit of brown spotting, which is now worrying me...

Just hoping for some reassurance really - is this normal? Could it be my implantation bleed coming out as I haven't seen any spotting at all since since ov...

Thanks for any advice you can give.... xxxx

Edit - I'm also having quite strong cramping too every now and again - anyone else have this?

Hi hon. Congratulations!

I think it's most likely implantation bleeding. Although it is scary when it happens a bit of spotting seems to be quite normal.

GL and welcome to tri 1! X

Hi hun and Congrats!
Spotting is very common so try not to worry I had 3 days of spotting around my bfp xxxx

Oh congrats hun!!! xxx :yay:

I've had spotting the whole way through and really bad cramps shortly after bfp ... I've had two scans and everything is fine x

Congratulations. Fx for you, I've personally had no bleeding at all but I believe most women do!

:pompom: So happy to see you in here Cee!!!! Lovely to see one more TTC ladies in tri 1

As scary as it is spotting is common and I had what felt like period pains for week. Now I understand why women say AF and pregnancy symoms are the same. Congrats to you!!!!

Xxx

Thanks for the encouragement girls :) Especially interested in what you said tweety - definitely re-assuring, about the spotting and the cramps too - glad you're progressing well in your pregnancy :) And Tara it does feel a little like af pains, so that's good to hear too, thanks :)

Does anyone know if it's possible to have an implantation bleed on 15dpo? I thought it happened much earlier. My cb digi said I was 2 -3 weeks yesterday, so bit late for implantation....?

Anyway,am feeling a little better - What would I do without you lovely ladies? I'm so glad to be in tri 1, though still can't quite believe I'm here! I will do my best to stay calm.... :) xxxx

Congrats! No its not uncommon. The fact that it's brown is good as its old blood and I would have thought was implantation bleeding.

If you've had no more of it, I wouldn't worry xxx

I would say its implantation bleeding too - its just the little bean snuggling in a little tighter!

Ooh - I hope so - might explain the cramping that's going on too :) thanks hon :) xxxxxxx

Oh wow lovely to see some.more familiar faces from ttc! Congratulations. I have had spotting on and off plus cramps at early stages. It'll just be your bean settling into its new home for 9 months! Have a happy and healthy pregnancy :) xx

OMG CEEBEE! I am so happy to see you in here hun massive congratulations! :D yay!!! I've not been on for a couple of days so haven't seen your annoucncement yet. Woohoo!

I had strong cramps which had me doubled over in pain the day before my BFP. Then I had pink and brown spotting on and off which started 3 days after my BFP (which would have been 15dpo) and continued for a week. Had my scan at 8+5 and my little bean was absolutely fine :D its so common and totally normal hun, defo sounds like implantation. I always thought it would be earlier too but so many girls on here have had it around 4-5-6 weeks.

So excited for you sweetie, looking forward to chatting with you in here! :D xxx

I had painful cramps and spotting for 4-5 days after my bfp. I've since seen baby twice and can now hear their hb with doppler. Spotting doesn't always lead to bad news! Congrats and good luck xxxx

Unless it's frequent spotting try not to worry :) it's probably bean getting very comfy and there is alot of blood flow to your cervix so little vessels might go rouge hence the spotting xxx

Hey ams :) thanks and good to see you too!

I feel more reassured about things now, but do hope it will stop soon, like it did for you. The spotting is hardly anything - just a little on the toilet paper really and only brown and the cramps are mostly mild, just every now and then a strong one...

Ooh - you had an early scan! So pleased everything is progressing well for you :) can't believe your 11 weeks already - nearly 2nd trimester! You'll be getting your NHS 12 week scan too, won't you? exciting! :)

I'm a bit tentative about being in tri 1 atm. Will probably pop in a bit, but might wait a few more weeks until I feel like my bean is sticking you know?

Chat soon honey :) xxx

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread and gave me their congrats and reassurances :) I do feel a lot better about things now - it's still only a tiny bit of spotting, hardly anything really, so as long as it doesn't get much more, I'll be fine :) xxxxxx
