Me too!! It terrible what he's done, doesn't he care that it could be dangerous :x

OH wanted to go round, he's a Saffer and they deal with things a bit ummm differently than here and I could see police, court etc etc and dont need the crap. No way am I going round for confrontation I'll probably give birth there or something.

Apparantly seller got 10 days to respond so we'll see what happens then, what a tosser!

We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favour.

We were able to recover 42.30 GBP, and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.

If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.

:cheer:

Will that go into paypal account or my bank account?

I know its not a lot but if someone robbed you of 44 quid in the street you'd have a fit!

depends hun - ws the amount balance funded or bankcard?

if it was ur paypal balance it goes back there if not it takes up to a week to be credited to your account.

did you have to return the pram?

hae you heard anything off the man in the meanttime?

Havent heard a word from him at all and paypal said I need take no further action i.e. dont have to hassle returning it.

I paid part paypal account part bank card as I had a few quid in paypal from something I sold.

Anyone looking for a double pram? :rotfl:

No seriously I wouldn't put any child in it, its not safe. OH bought me the mothercare hoxton last week and I love it :)

OMG how could someone sell you that  He needs a slap :x

Glad you got a refund

Geesh what a *$%£!!

I just started selling stuff on ebay clearing out old clothes and mobiles etc, and anything slightly unsuitable I've either clearly said it or just put it in one of the 6 black sacks Im taking to charity shops....and that's just to avoid upset, not injury of small children!!!

And all for the measly £2 he made from selling it on!!!

So glad you got your money back. I did browse some prams on there, but after this, and as someone else pointed out in another thread, you can't go back with a receipt so easily as in a shop/

The main problem HideiLu is with collection only as they could claim sold as seen, accepted damage. However you could counter with item not received as seller has to proove delivery using a trackable method which collection only cant.

I'm sure there are some fab prams on ebay, look for ones that clearly take photos of ANY damage as you know at least they're trying to be honest. Both of those sellers fibbed and neither pointed out any damage whatsoever so if you see a pram on there and the seller says has a scratch here and shows you a photo of it then more likely not to have any hassle with them. I think most prams would have a teeny bit of damage or the odd scuff here and there, its to be expected :)

The saga continues....

I picked the pram up- on 8th June and its taken him until today to contact me. Cheeky git has emailled me this

I have just returned from a 3-week holiday to find that you have complained to Paypal and withdrawn your payment. I assume your hormones have made you into such a drama queen and fabricated/grossly exaggerated this case. I appreciate this is the risk when trying to do business on eBay. I should point out that when people obtain refunds, it is obviously normal to actually return the item. I suggest you contact me soon and arrange return/delivery or I shall be taking further action.

Nice convenient 3 week holiday isnt it seeing as paypal have just refunded me and said I need take no further action. I contacted him the SAME DAY I collected the pram with the problems with it and you've all seen the ebay listings clearly showing he bought that pram 10 days before he sold it so his listing is a total lie.
Let him take further action, tosser, he had his chance.

What an absolute knob!
How patronising can you get....hormones?!!!!
Idiot!
Glad you got your money back.

i wouldnt reply to that.. dont worry aobut it.. ebay haven't said for you to return the item..if ebay contact you tell them you took it to the dumb as it wasnt fit for a child to sit in and he would only sell it on and you couldnt have the risk on your mind of any child at any age toddler or newborn being crushed in it .what a cock.. he also sent you abusive message so that is evidence of nastyness.. grrr i would actually think about contacting ebay tellign them aboutt his message and say that you will not put up with it.

I agree with Lisa, contact ebay (repeatedly if necessary) about that message. That is not on. W@nker.

I wouldn't junk the pram just in case he complains and it needs to be returned. Oh, and leave him a big fat negative while you can!

I agree, i wouldnt return it and risk him selling it on, the next person may not realise it's falling apart, or how to get money back

OMG I'm fuming after reading that! Arrrrgggghhh
I'd be tempted to go show him what hormones can do! :x :x :x
