Does anyone know which foods I could give my lo which are easy to prepare when we are away camping at the weekend?! Banana is one that I will use for breakfast, just need ideas for the other meals! Thanks :D

Avocado (you can mash it with banana or have it on it's own). Jake doesn't like it but I know a lot of baby's do. Would it not be easier to take jars as then you only have to heat them up.

are you mushing everything for him or doing BLW?

Avacado is a fav of Arianna's
Cheese
bread sticks
rice cakes
Apple

Camping in a camper van, so we do have the means to cook - it's just storing the food and keeping cool.

Avocado sounds good, I am mashing foods at the mo 8)

To be honest I would be tempted with just buying jarred food as that doesn't need to be kept cold until it is open. I use the Hipp Organic stuff for when we are going out of the day and don't have means to keep food frozen while we are out.

i wuld do that only riley refuses jarred food i dunno y

Arianna wont take jarred food either!

Has the camper not got a fridge - it's really unusual for it not to (sorry I used to sell them!!)

Lol, yeah but the fridge is rather small! I might just try some jarred food for the weekend. I am a bit wary but only because I like to know exactly what I am feeding him! I'm sure the Hipp organic range is good. Will have a look at them today :D

I tried several jars etc and the only one Ellie would touch was the Hipp Organic ones. I don't give them to her very often as I would rather she just eat the same as us, but there are times they are very handy. I keep 1 jar in the huggies bag in case we get a sudden change of plan and end up out when she is due a lunch etc. Not such a problem now as she is eating more food straight so to speak but earlier it was.
