This is my second pregnancy. I am 36+3.

I know asking this is like asking how long is a piece of string BUT just wanted to run it past you for thoughts. Last night i put a post on here regarding my waters feeling like they are about to pop. Since then i feel more things going on.

So, for the last two weeks i have been feeling a lot of pressure down below which has increased and now feels like my water are about to pop. Last night i hardly slept (which reminded me of the night before i had DS1 - dont ask me why it felt similar, it just did). I have been having Braxton Hicks for the past 2 weeks but today they have become more regular. However, as far as the feeling is concerned they feel different this time round to my first labor. These ones are more achey like period ache rather than pain. Are they still contractions??

I also feel exhausted today, dizzy and a bit sick.

Does this all sound normal and do you think it mean early stages of labour? Im confused as it feels so different to my first pregnancy where I went overdue and they induced me. My waters just went without warning and strong painful regular contractions hit very soon after

This sounds very much like me at your stage of pregnancy, it was baby engaging and cervix softening etc! It's all good signs and means stuff is happening naturally for you this time :-) I still ended up full term + 1 but with it being your second you may not! Just keep doing stuff to keep things going like keeping active, I did a lot of floor scrubbing (never scrubbed a floor before or again lol) good luck lovely :-) xxx

Hi there, every pregnancy is different so do not compare it with your first. Good luck with your baby. :-)

I'm the same as you hun, plus I've lost bits of my plug over the last 3 days. My 1st was born at 37+1 and my labour went from nothing to something whereas this one feels so different. I'm keeping an eye on everything but at the moment I'm just putting it down to my body and the baby getting ready xxx
