Over the past week I've noticed that my ears seem 'blocked' I'm pretty sure it's due to excessive wax build up cos it has been a problem b4. So,does anyone know if hopi ear candling will help?? I don't wanna book the treatment if it's not gonna make any difference xx

Hi Emmamb.

Yes I had hopi couple of years ago. It was VERY relaxing.
I didn't think I had ear wax problem but OMG! when she unrolled the stick at the end I was so embaressed.
There was SO much wax!
Absolutely no idea how it works, but I would say it definately does.
........And I felt really good afterwards.
Hope this helps :0)

Forgot to say Emmamb.
About 6 months or so before I had the hopi I had my ears syringed (is that how you spell it?) Which was SUCH a relief !
(That's why I thought I no longer had ear wax.)
So if you are suffering (which I was) i advise a trip to the GP
X

I went to the gp a while ago and all he said was 'olive oil-twice a day' they're higy against syringing unless necessary and my mum had it done years ago and it perforated her ear drum and she's has to wear a hearing aid ever since xx

Hey Emma, I'm trained in Hopi ear candles and yes it would help but you need to do a course of treatments. Maybe once a week for about 6 weeks.
The results are fantastic and it's soooo relaxing!!

You can buy them to do at home! It's so relaxing! But it didn't do much for my wax! Mines awful
Tho and all my doc will do is the olive oil!

I've done it at home loads of times, worked really well for me :) x

The Olive oil just seemed to move the wax about for me.
It got so painful I had to have it syringed and it was such a relief!
But do try the Hopi you will really enjoy.
Like I said it is SOOOO relaxing :)
