Drake is 9 months and is on 3 meals a day and 3 bottles a day. What age do you start dropping the afternoon bottle and an idea on the morning one? I can't remember with my boys!

MW told me 3 bottles at 9 months and drop a bottle a month xx

Thanks! I hope he's ready to drop it when the time comes!

Charley's still on 3 bottles but I think he's getting ready to drop one as his morning ones getting less and less x x

Tegan doesn't really count as she hardly drinks But milk she's just totally dropped her morning bottle so now just has 1 in the afternoon and 1 at bedtime x

I am not dropping his mid afternoon bottle til he is 1 x

Slightly different as I bf but ella is only on a morning and a bedtime bf, we dropped the afternoon one at 8months as she wasn't taking much and the hv agreed she didn't really need it.

Thanks all. For the ones who's dropped the morning ones, what do you do if their early risers like 6am. Do you still give them breakfast that early? And a mid morning snack to last them till dinnertime?

hey hun..marleys the same age (heheh) and for a while now he has been having just 2 bottles a day... he has about 6oz when he wakes up (even tho today he took just 1oz!) and then he has 9oz at bedtime! at his hv check she said this was fine! i also make up his breakfast with 4oz formula too so he gets a bit extra that way! with him though he kind of decided to drop it... i was offering 3 a day but he was barely drinking the afternoon one, like 1oz or 2, so one day i just didnt offer it, gave an afternoon snack instead and it seemed to work ok!
