Drool Rash

What can I do for drool rash?

Luke's constantly doing a hilarious drool thing and has a bit of a rash around and under his chin.. can I use vaseline or something like Sudocreme as a barrier cream or does anyone have any other ideas?

either of those ! we used magic cream to clear it up then always put a lil bit of his eperderm on it now ( just liek vasaline)

My HV told me to slap vasceline on his chin... at night especially, giving the chin time to heal.

I havent tried it yet, but I can see it could help!

I use Nelson's Calendula cream - its lovely. Clears it up a treat.

Tia used to get it loads... lil miss has been ok so far..

Creams would clear it up but it kept coming back... I brought some of those plastic back small bibs that tie round the neck and put them on under her clothes so that she could drool all she wanted but the skin never got wet...so once it had cleared up it stayed cleared up its probably not deemed correct nowadays, but it really worked with Tia..
