Doppler Advice? *YEY SORTED IT!*

Hope its ok posting this here:

OK I can only find my own heartbeat at the moment as its intime with my pulse. I know everything is ok with baby as I had a scan yesterday so im not worried, I just wondered if anyone has any tips on how to find babys heartbeat and not your own through the placenta?

I tried for a while moving it around but only seem to be able to find my own, maybe its due to babys position as it was being really awkward when we had the scan yesterday

some dopplers dont work till after 28 weeks. What sort is it? have u tried putting it down really low near your pubic bone area?

fill up your bladder till your at the point where you know you are going to need a wee very soon, and then position the scanner to the side of your belly button and just below it, and push in, then try the other side.

Hope it works but it may be too early

Hi Bebe, BT200 and other people have said they are hearing the hearbeat and arent as far along as I am Maybe it depends?

In my sodding hip bone!!!

Honestly try really low down and right on the side of your hip we can nearly always fine LO on my right side that low down even now

Found it! It was tonnes fast than my heart beat but then it just disappear, could this be cos baby is moving around?

glad you found it, but yes lo will move around more than you will feel.. just think all that room it has now, hes so active it will take a while to find it..
