Don't know what to expect

Hiya,
I'm due on 5th Sept and am self-employed. I run a busy b+b with DH and my main jobs are cooking and housekeeping (no cleaning, mainly making beds, tidying up, that sort of thing). Met the midwife once, she says I ought to have min. month's rest after birth, but how about before? What do you think? Many thanks

I think its down to how you feel before hand but definately take it easy & no strenuus (SP?) jobs, i found by 35 weeks I was getting very tired & bad back (My job is on your feet all day)
