Am worried Ella might get it - a woman that goes to our M&B group has 3 children all down with it, including her baby (who we saw on Tuesday).

I've had it and I b/f, but she also does and her baby still got it. Wondering if he got it as he was extremely exposed to it though.

She hasn't got a temp, is happy and feeding ok. Still has her cold though.

Plus, is it possible to get it twice? I've got some of the symptoms except the spots, but have already had it.

dior had a rash it was like pimpels all under her skin and was red, sh had it in her scalp too, i thought it was chicken pox but it was a viral rash as she had a bad cough cold bthe week before...

Cheers Dionne

The doc said her belly rash was viral, but this looked different. :?

Know there isn't much I can do if it is. Poor maid is asleep on my shoulder at the mo (one handed typing is hard work!)

I cant really see from the pic but my daughter had chicken pox about a year ago and from what i can remember they looked like little blisters! Brooke was also fine in herself had a little bit of a temp every now and then but apart from that was ok!

If she has been around chicken pox id say it could be the start of them! When Brooke had them the whole school seemed to be off with them! Dionne could be right it could just be a viral infection but if you are worried you could get her cheaked out!

Hope this helps!

tell me abou it im trying to wind harley and type

i got some antibiotix off the doc i only used it twice the rash went the next day

poor lil thing it breaks my heat when thy are poorly

If the red lumps have a little wet spot or pimple like a blister in the middle of them then it could be Chicken Pox

Phew! They've faded over the course of today - just the pinprick ones on her tum now thank goodness :)

Hi rosieroo

If they've faded over the course of the day it could be an urticaric rash (basically hive), it's a type of allergic reaction that produces a rash simular to a nettle sting and they can range in size.

There are different types of urticaria, it can be caused buy an allergy to certain foods, animals, medicines, pollen or even hot or cold weather.

My eldest some times gets this I took him to the gp day after his rash had appeared (it had dissapeared by then) he confirmed what it was but told us he couldn't say what had caused it, he also told us to give piriton to conteract the histamine.

if you become concerned a trip to your gp won't do any harm, have a google for info on urticaria and see what you think.

I've had chicken pox 4 times  when i had them the last time about 4 years ago i asked the dr how i've had them more than once and she said that if you only had a mild dose before your body doesn't build up immunity to it or summat like that, but i had it really bad as achild my mum just used to put me in the bath and pour calomine lotion over me.

Abi had it when she was 15 weeks old they were little red spots with blisters on the top she also went off her food for about 4 days.
