Make a photo really small so it can fit in a locket?

I have this picture of my dad an lo that I want in the locket you girls bought me but I don't know if it's possible to shrink it enough and still be able to see it clearly...

If I take it to a photo shop will they know?

They could do it im sure, or if you have access to a scanner you can scan it yourself and resize it x

Oooh forgot I've got a scanner lol
I'll give it a whirl in the morning, I really hope it comes out ok, it's the only picture I've got of both of them. I have one of me and my daddy when I was little for the other side.
I'm just worried you won't be able to make out the picture cos then I've got nothing to put in it
