Throughout my entire pregnancy so far i have never had an increase in frequency going to the loo. I never thought much of it but read all you women saying you get up 4-8 times a night and i dont get up at all, never have done. I just think thats really wierd. I drink plenty and yet i go no more then i did before i was pregnant (minus the 3 occassions of water infections)
Wonder why this is?
I've not had an easy pregnancy but maybe i just got off lightly with this symptom.

hmm  .......

I don't think its weird, every pregnancy is different. Its seems common to go to the loo more but maybe thats because when one person mentions it, it can seem like everybody else is the same but not everyone else is the same IYKWIM? That really doesn't make sense in the slightest! Sorry! I know what I'm trying to say but its not coming out that way lol I blame my pregnancy brain!!

I was the same up until the last 3-4 weeks.. Still couldnt sleep though!

LMAO - something to look forward to i see!

You speak to soon! I was surprised to hear how often other 3rd Tri-ers went in the night too, and then it happened to me really late on too.

Those wee-break induced sleepless nights are nothing compared to baby induced sleepless nights though, be warned! ;)

i think i have to go to the toilet a little bit more, it's more a feeling of needing a really big wee, then i just get a little dribble, haha. but i never have had to get up in the night... so far!

I'm not going much more than usual either. I'm hardly ever up through the night. And I'm drinling lots more too..
I'm sure it will catch up with us soon!!
xx

Hi hun, I've been wondering exactly the same. It seems to be such a common thing but touch wood I've been fine too. I'm really thirsty all the time but don't think I'm weeing any more than usual. I quite often get up for a pee once a night now but it's not an urgent thing, and certainly not every night - often it's just because I'm so uncomfy in bed the walk to the loo passes some time!

Perhaps we've just got abnormally large bladder's or their positioned in a different place to others

Still shouldn't complain!!

I have a bit of a public toilet fear so usually go the whole day at work without weeing but recently, I have had to start going at lunchtime, especially if I have a tea in the morning. I also used to sleep straight through but about 50% of the time, I need to wee in the night now too. I know its gonna get worse though!

Exactly the same here! Only increased really in the last week! Though I know I have been drinking more than usual for months! Now she just likes to punch me in the bladder and I feel like a wee but nothing comes out!? hahahaha

I'm 8 days overdue and I still sleep through the night without needing a wee :D It's different for everyone

I think it was only about a week or so before i was due that i started needing a wee at night otherwise i just slept through, then again now im so used to it i can get up n have a wee and go back to bed without properly waking up i think lol

I have been really lucky with this as well!! I might go to the toilet once in the night and that's it.

By the sounds of it, we're going to be there constantly in the last few weeks! Some others seem to not suffer this symptom at all.
