If you know what you are having yet?

I'm telling everyone I'm pregnant now and I have lost track of the amount of people who have asked if I know what I'm having! A girl is who is also pregnant about 1 wk behind me asked me when I was 10 wks I was really surprised as I presumed she would be aware that they can't tell the babies sex till later into the pregnancy!

Is anyone else finding this?

I think it's an automatic question people ask after they know you are expecting...

I would rather them ask me that than if I was suffering from piles or how much my nipples had grown by!

OMG yes they did that to me alllllll the time , still do, drives me nuts coz u feel like a broken record when u have to keep saying u dont find out till 20 weeks!

I had this too, and I'm sure some people at work thought I was keeping something from them at first! I still don't know so I wasn't lying!

Haha yeah I've had a few questions about the sex of the baby. Just said that it's too early to find out yet.

Glad it's not just me! I think its mad that people think you would know so early on especially when the have kids themselves!

What gets me is how people automatically assume that 1) you should know by 12 weeks and 2) that you want to find out.

Some people just like to have a surprise! And besides that, its not guaranteed that you CAN find out!

I had this all the time and it gets more and more frustrating the nearer you get to the 20 week scan, i tell you once i know im going to stop telling old friends im pregnant and just tell them * im having a girl/boy * !!!
