Anyone been here?

I want to go here for my honeymoon next year as we ar taking the kids with us.

But i was also thinking that we could postpone it and have a late honeymoon in december! Magical christmas!

I went with a school trip when I was 13. It was good - very busy though but you'd expect that. Was lots of fun :)

Hi,
We have been to disneyland paris twice-the first time we stayed at the davy crockett ranch-a disney owned self catering option and the second time we stayed at Newport Bay which is a mid range disney hotel. Both times we had a ball even though we have been to Florida and it was a little different. We think that staying in Disney makes all the differenceand preferred the newport bay to davy crockett. You get little extras included like the characters coming to the hotel and breakfast which you can take inside the park so that you are there as soon a it opens. We haven't been at christmas but we did go at Easter and are hoping to go again next year.
I think if you go with an open mind if you have already been to Florida you will be fine.If you haven't been there you won't know any different and will have a great time anyway.

We went to disney for new years eve 2001 it was great, all though it was freezing and your out in it all the time! I was pg with kai at the time so he hasn't been yet, we are taking him next year though!

I really wanna go there Yvonne!!

If you do go you must let me know how it was! :D

I've been there twice. Stayed in Hotel Sequoia lodge the first time and the the Disneyland hotel the second.

if you take Eurostar it's great for the kiss too as they get a Disney express stamp in their passport and your luggage gets sent straight to your hotel whilst you go straight to the park!

It was great!

Take a decent amount of spending money though as food isn't cheap and the kids( and yourself if anything like me) will be buying loads of souveniers!

We're going again next year but only for the day as we're camping just outside Paris.. kids are very excited! :D

kirlykird thats where we are booking sequola lodge. its midrange and looks great for the kiddies. we are going for christmas 2008, i know its a long way off but it will take a while to save for this. we are going via eurostar too.

I went just after the millenium and it was great!!

Would definately reccommend it.

Didn't think much of Paris though.

Where is the best place to book it? online or in a travel agents?

We got some brochures the other day and the prices confused me!

I would surf the net & get quotes then go to a few travel agents to compare prices. Travel agents often charge alot more than online. If you let me know what sort of thing you are after i'll have a look for you if you want. :D
Things like how to get there will reflect on the prices greatly too?

sequoia Lodge waa great Davina, just on the lake and in the Winter there is a big open fire in the bar..lovely :D

I would book online, surf for the deals :D

I've been many times, but the only disney hotel I ever stayed in was sequoia lodge also, and it was beautiful. Very very cosy.
Disneyland is great for kids though, I know I enjoyed it until upto when I was roughly 12, when I wanted something a bit more extreme, but I wouldn't turn it down if offered to go of course. Just the magical happy feeling it gives off is unreal, and the parade's are a definete for kids.
Hope you have fun!
