AJ went to the dentist today and sat in the magic chair and showed the lady dentist his teeth! Bless him, he didn't say a word but he was so big and brave
The Dentist was very impressed at how good AJ was, as were mammy and daddy

I was surprised when I asked my dental surgery when I could register Oscar and they said about 2.5 years

I've been told to take C at my next 6 month check - last one was last week so he will be 16 months when I first take him. 2.5 yrs seems late!

I think it depends on the dentist.
I was speaking to ours and she said they dont normally sit in the chair and let you have a good look until they are around 4 They like to get them along when you have your check up so they are familiar with what happens.

AJ came along to the dentist about a year ago and he sat in the chair and the dentist scared him So we thought we'd leave it a bit.

I've got a dentist appt coming up again so gonna ask if I can bring Oz on my check ups from then on. He love having his teeth rubbed so hopefully he won't mind the dentist taking a look!!
