I bled for 6 weeks after giving birth then had a week with nothing and then got my first period, mine was really heavy so it's pretty normal.

i was told my period would come 6 weeks later and did (although i still hadn't stopped bleeding from the birth i knew it was my period as it was a lot heavier and brighter blood) xx

I got my first period 6 weeks after I gave birth. I stopped bleeding about 3 weeks after so I know it is my period. It is fairly normal in flow to my usual periods.

I keep bleeding on and off. It stopped for about 5 or 6 days but then started again. It has since stopped again. But occasionally get blood when I wipe. Very odd. Also getting tummy cramps.x
