Hi guys,
So myself and DH have started fertility testing after 1yr of trying with no success.
My first bloods (Day 5) came back normal. My Day 21 Progesterone bloods came back low, 25. GP said it needs to be over 30, however 28 is their cut off for normal. I say 'their' as I've seen plenty of different posts where GP's have given different numbers.
She asked if my cycles were usually 28 days, they actually range between 25-28 and this cycle was 25. So she said don't worry and just tweak the day that I come next time - aim for around day 18.
Of course day 18 is a Saturday (wouldn't expect anything else!), so my options would be day 17 or day 20.
My only concern is that I used the clearblue advanced fertility monitor and it showed peak at day 13, so I'd guess I actually ovulate on day 14. Between ovulation and AF, there's 11 days, so if I aim for middle ground at 6 days, is day 20 for bloods probably my best bet?
Anything supplement wise you could suggest taking in the mean time? Or any super foods that could boost progesterone? I'm taking Folic Acid, Vit D and Fish Oil at the moment x
