Hiya

When I first came off the pill my cycles were crazy, id have a period 1 month and none for the next 3 months, sometimes thye would last 38 days. However. I lost some weight and started going to gym and eating better and for the past 7 months my period has been like clockwork, almost down to the hour!!! 29 day cycle and always starts between 10am-11am that morning.

I have been TTC for about 16 months, but i dont count it as that now I count it as 7 as before my cycle was all over the place and it was hard to judge when i was ovulating.

I dont do BBT, as I think they are extremely unreliable but thats my opinion. I have just started this month trying Ovulation Predictor Tests thanks to Zoe C, who explained to me what they do.

How long have you been TTC for? I think I ovulate on Day 13 as I just keep an eye out for changes in discharge etc, but hope now with the OPT's I can now predict if it is DAY 13 or not. But last month and this month my partner and I have been "humping" every 2nd day!!! he he

We've been TTC for 4 cycles now, although only properly timing intercourse for 2 using OPKs and BBT and cm.

I don't pay too much attention to my BBT - but it so far has seemed to tie-in with my positive OPKs ans cm and its nice to get a 2nd confirmation of ovulation.

I'm impressed you've managed to hump every other day.....Me and my partner never seem to have the time due to the shifts he works etc.

Last month I ovulated on day 17 and the month before on day 19 so I plan to have a very busy bedroom weekend next weekend to make sure we don't miss it lol! Will be starting using OPk on weds or thurs.

Thats the same as me I am going to use them as of Wednesday and hope for the last few months i have predicted well myself, if not and I am totally wrong I think I will have to give myself some self punishment lol!!!!!

Looks pretty similar to fertility friend at a quickglance..anything you find particularly useful on there?

Just really the same old thing as afew other similar websites, but more easier to read and digest the info. Plus once you enter all ur details they tell you when they think you are ovulating or fertile or your run up days etc plus they give you the outcome of all your stats, so if you have done it wrong or mis interpreted at least you can go by theres.

Am actually starting to get quite desperate to get pregnant which am worried is now preventing me getting pregnant!

I ideally wanted a baby here by end of 2007 but realistically that only gives me until march to get a BFP. THen my other target was to have a baby here by time am 25 but then that only gives me til July 2007 to get pregnant

In my original life plan made several years ago I thought I would like to have a baby by the time I was 25!...but I'm running a bit behind now....will be 27 on monday and have only really just started the TTC thing.

Would really like to fall pregnant in 2007 and the sooner the better. It wouldn't be so bad if you had some idea of how long it would take you to conceive, but I find the whole not knowing thing very frustrating...could be a month, could be a year, could be never (optimistic aren't I lol).

I keep trying not to think about it so much but its almost impossible, it seems there are babys everywhere and that just sets my brain off again.

Am exactly the same, all my friends bar me have fallen pregnant in the last 3 years, some are now on their 2nd child. Before I would never notice pregnant women in town etc... now it appears every time i turn around there is a women in full bloom staring back at me.

I dread every pain i feel after ovulation thinking and knowing deep down its AF on her way, but then I read all the first symptons and I have them!!! But thing is 99% of first symptons of pregnancy are also the first symptons my AF is away to rear its ugly head and I get quite hurt at it all.

When I was younger i took it for granted thinking it was easy to get pregnant..... Its not.

Hi, i'm due to ovulate around the same time as you guys too!
my cycles vary but are around the 35-40 day length!
i have one boy, and we are ttc no 2. been trying for 6 months now.

I am due to ovulate around the 10th January. I have been off the pill for a year now and still nothing. So am trying to chart to see if we get sucess in 2007

welcome to my little ovulating club!! hope 2007 is a successful year for all of us....hopefully they'll be plenty of sticky babydust around next weekend and early next week.

How are you finding the charting sclingham?

Hmmm..... well just spent an hour going through the diary counting up the cycle etc. I have registered at www.babycentre.co.uk which is good. It asks for the last date of period and length of cycle - gives your most fertile days and resulting due date.

Have you thought about BBT or OPK?

I assume these fertile dates are calculated on an assumed length of luteal phase?

We are considering OPK - but to be honest I don't want to get to tech with just yet. What aouut u ?
