Cries when filling nappy or passing wind

My LO seems to cry and look really uncomfortable when passing wind and filling his nappy. He isnt constipated and his poos are normal. Does anyone have any idea why he might be doing this?

My LO did this up till about 10-11 weeks when his gut matured and he was better able to cope with wind and pooing. He used to fuss so much when needing passing wind.

He only poos every few days now and he really strains then to get it all out. Not in pain just a real 'grrrrrrr' of effort.

Evie did this, we are using Infacol and it has helped... I worried that we were using it unnecessarily so stopped it for a week and the uncomfortable straining came back.... so she's back on it and much happier
