coughing while pregnant

does anybody know if coughing can do any damage while pg , im 20+3 wks and i had a coughin fit today and it hurt the ligamints around my womb now im worried

I get that when I sneeze hun, think its ok, it just hurts sometimes cos like you said the ligaments are stretching, if your really worried id check with your MW

i get asthma and i wondered the same thing as i cough alot at certain times. But apparantly its ok. After all you cannot help coughing.
