Cotbed Mattress

I just measured our cotbed (which is a second hand mothercare one ) as we need to buy a mattress. Trouble is the measurements are different by 5cms from the ones that mothercare stock now! All the major stockists seem to make the same size 140 x 70cm! Aaaargh, what can I do?
There are some on ebay but I want it to be a safe and good one. Can anybody recommend anything?

i dont think theyre exactly the same measurements anyway, but your not supposed to have more than a 2cm gap around all edges, maybe thats why your measurements are different? mothercare wont have had a mattress that was only a few cms bigger surely?

I haven't, i was going too but then ended up with a cot that already had a matress.
