Coping with broodiness

Oh hon, it's so hard to cope with isn't it?

I have no idea how you deal with it really, and as much as I'd love a dog too, I suspect I'd still be as broody and just have a pooch in tow!!

I have 2 dogs and the 2nd one i got because I was soooo down about TTC and she was the cutest little thing ever and it did help for abit and i love them both but to be honest they dont really stop you being broody and they are a pain in the neck half the time lol x

I am incredibly broody too, I got both my dogs at different times due to being so broody and it did help for a while but that yearning soon comes back again. I do love my dogs though and don't regret getting them, they help me through the dark days and give me cuddles when I need them x

I'm the same, got 1 of my dogs after 8 months ttc and now I'm 30 months ttc and just got a new puppy! She is a pain in the bum but she keeps my mind occupied! She is so cute (when she's asleep) she wakes me up atleast 5times during the night! Haha! I was only talking to a lady today about how when u get a dog u treat them like a family member!

Having them around definitely helps me but will never take away my broodiness! Xxx

My dog saved my life. He doesn't help with the need for babies, but he gives me an outlet for my need to care for something and keeps me busy. I got AF today and suddenly burst into tears about the whole ttc thing while sitting on the sofa. He instantly stopped playing and jumped up to cuddle me and I was laughing within 2 mins. It's still so hard but he gets me through each evil month a bit easier. Wouldn't have been ideal if I'd got pregnant whole he was tiny though- puppies are hard work lol x

I have a very small dog who is treated and acts just like a baby. He is excited about getting dressed up, needs tucked in at night or he won't go to sleep (seriously, he wanders around the house if you don't!). People keep tellin us we'll have no problem with kids the way we treat him!!

I know they will never replace a child but they do serve as a distraction for sure x

You sound exactly like me!! Haha! My dogs are my babies! Spoilt rotten! Xx

Sweet! My friend's cat lies on her back in my lap and actually behaves like a baby, I don't know if she knows! And pets are great for cheering you up when you feel down. I'd like to get a dog but we both work full time so it wouldn't be fair.

This is Harvey Moon :) I do have another Pom but he behaves more like a dog so I don't get away with things like this with him lol
