I've just been watching Sky News, re the whole BBC fraud thing and the Blue Peter Cat naming fiasco...

Can someone please explain how the BBC bods came to the idea that name "cookie" has a sexual connotation to it please???

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Cookie a cookie can apparently mean something to do with cocaine, which wouldn't be good after what some blue peter presenters did in the past! It can also according to this site mean a lady's intimate area.

My concern would more be, why cookie and not biscuit? :)

That gives a whole new freakyness to the googly eyes on the Cookie Monster!!

I always though some little girls used the word cookie to descibe their lady bits, maybe thats why?

Oh for goodness sake!!! Does that mean that Tescos are going to have to rename their choc chip cookies? Maryland Cookies? Millie's Cookies...Grrrr World's gone mad.

Yes... Tescos baked flour, sugar and chocolate rounds... Cookies a lot better...

I get my daughter to call her lady bits... well... Lady bits... :rotfl: :rotfl: I think cookie might get confusing...

omg, why would they call it pussy anyways :|
AND dont they just take things over the top these days,

like with the hot cross bun
and spotted dick.

:|

Was just saying that it was unfair that the presenters had to apologise (again!) because they probably have nothing to do with the name selection process!

I know I bet they feel right stupid, the should drag the producers out on live TV instead
