does your baby seem content?

Jack rarely does, unless he's sleeping! :(

he wakes for his feeds then once he's had his feed he just whinges for a couple of hours before he goes to sleep again. he won't settle in his bouncy chair either.

Only time he's content is if he's lying on my chest. obviously i check the usual, nappy, burp etc but he just never seems to be happy just lying back and checking out the world.

do you think i've spoilt him?
i worry he's not gonna be a happy child. Prob just worrying for nothing but would appreciate your comments.

And please bear in mind i have a big 'L' sign attached to my booty! x

your baby is still really really young... my hannah was abit like that also around that age.. hannah grew out of it as she got more interested in things around her. Have you got a vibrateing chair? i got hannah 1 at about 6 weeks and she loved it and would sit in it for hours. Also do you swaddle your baby? That seemed to settle hannah alot too so i could put her down and she would still feel secure.

im sure she'll grow out of it hun, hannah has been a peice of cake since she was and 2 and half months.. it deffinatly gets easier :)

i got him a vibrating chair and must admit he seems to settle in it a bit better now. guess i've just got to be patient... wish he would smile! least then i would know if he was happy.

god i'm so impatient..

thanks

millie did seem content until she neared 3 months, when she decided she needed a bedtime routine. then se got really grumpy in the evenings. so we moved her bedtime from midnite/1am to 8.30pm shes more content again

He will start smiling soon, dont worry. A lot of babies tend to be a little whingy at the beginning, it passes. As my nine year old explained to his friend "Yeah, she cries a lot, but she only knows how to eat, sleep cr*p and cry, so she has to practise them all every day!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Kids, they do say the funniest things - I had to bite my cheek hard not to laugh
