Also can you get Colief on prescriptions?? It's very expensive I have brought.some to try has anyone used it and it worked??

i used gripe water and infacol. infacol seemed to work whilst having a feed and if she got tummy ache inbetween feeds gripe water is good x

I got colief on prescription as my son still needs it and he is 6 months old..I did stop all other medicines like infacol as colief solved 80% of his problems..good luck

I used colief and infacol together.

I got it on prescription but I don't think all doctors will give it, worth a try though x

Are you breastfeeding? Just a thought if you are. I took all dairy and chocolate out of my diet when I was breastfeeding and Matt's colic stopped within a day. Seriously, its worth considering if your LO has it bad.

Thank you for.your help girls.
Also when reading.instructions it.says.to put in feed.for.30 mons.before.use is.that what you girls.do I've.been making bottles.at.room temp. Then adding the.formula to it. How have those.who have.used.it how have.you made it up??

Rosies mummy no he is bottle feed. But thank you for.your.advice.x.x

It was a right pain having to wait 30 mins! I followed the instructions on the pack, can't remember now what I did exactly x

hi,
I used colief on advice from health visitor, but unfortunately it didn't work for us, but worth a go. I kept the colief in the fridge and when lo was getting ready for his feed i just put four drops into the water (room temp) then added the formula. And by the time he was ready the 30 mins had passed. But i did find the instructions for usage rather random!!xxxxxxxxxxxx

It does seem to be helping!! He has slept today which he doesn't do normally. So we shall see how it goes. Thanks girls.. x x

For mums who have used colief - till what age ur baby uneeded it..my son is 6 months and he still needs 1 drop..when I tried feeding him without it his colic came back immediately and he started crying..:(
