Cold remedies

Hey ladies,

I have the worst cough and cold atm and I'm suffering terribly. What can I take and not take?

Can I take cold and flu tablets?
Covonia cough medicine?

I literally feel the worst Iv ever felt.

I think Covonia is ok but cold and flu tablets aren't. I would definitely give your GP a call or check with a pharmacist for what's safe for you to take though! Really hope you feel better soon Marvellous!

I'm sure I read somewhere that covonia isn't recommended in pregnancy. I know when I got a bad cold/block sinuses I rang the midwife and she told me the only safe thing to take was paracetamol and fluids. Its just a case of riding it out I'm afraid. But double check with your pharmacist. Oh and boots sell a vapour bubble bath in the little angels range xx

I believe soothers actually have written on them they are safe during pregnancy xx
