Hi ladies,

and congrats once again to those who got BFPs - fab news!

Looking for advice for a new ttcer who is pretty clueless....

I am on CD23, have no idea of my cycle length, or when I ovulated (although I think I may have had a positive test on CD18). When can I do a HPT?

PLEASE don't say wait for your af, I can't wait that long!!! Any ideas??

Do you normally have different length cycles? What was your cycle lenght last month do you know? If your last cycle length was say, 28 days, I would say best to test in 5 days time ie on day 28, but if you really can't wait, (and I know you can't), then get yourself a first response or something similar and maybe test in a couple of day? Really not sure that it's a good idea to test before af is due, because we all have differing levels of hpg and the test may be a false bfn, which is heartbreaking. Sometimes it's just better to wait if you can

hi shezza and thanks for replying, the truth is - I donlt know how long my cycle is as this is only my second month off the pill, first one was 28 days, but to be honest i'm not sure when i ovulated!

I have 3 x first response tests, one clearblue digital + conception indicator and 6 x ebay cheapies (not that I'm a POAS addict!)


i'm quite excited though, i have sore boobs!!!

Well girls, tested and BFN (all your faults )

I've not given up hope yet though, it's only early days - CD24 -keep your fingers crossed.

Sod it, I've bought so many tests now I might test every morning for the next few days - It's the not knowing I can't bear!!! I really am a POAS addict in denial!
