They had an up to 50% sale on for the last week but now they have been told to bring out all remaining stock and have a closing down sale because they are not gonna get saved!!

Yeah its the start..they have been told not to order any more stock and they will now probably be closed before the end of december rather than after xmas like they wanted! so it will be like a mad jumble sale even worse than last week!

Spoke to my mate that works in our local one and he said they are doing further reductions tomorrow but not on the baby stuff yet . He said they might next week.

I went to woollies today as i heard on the news about the closing down sale starting and it was the same as it been all week gutted, plus i queued for 50 mins only for them to tell us they had no bags, i had to run to wilko to get some lol. So was gutted expected everything to be right down in price.

went in there this evening and there was hardly anything.. anywhere.

OH works in there, stocking the shelves and today said the only stuff he had to put out was the home stuff.. like photo frames, bathroom stuff, kitchen stuff, pillows etc. that's all that's left. he starts work at 6am and said that at 7:30am people were queing outside to get in; and they don't open until 10am!

WOW , it's amazing what people will do for a bargain.

I went today and didnt think it was that good. Its made out everythings 50% off but its mainly 10 and 20% off.

i went in today got some stuff, the signs said UP TO 50%off
im gutted my OH manages our woolies, hes going to be jobless for the 4th time in as many years

they're still holding out hope that someone will buy them.. but to be honest the store is almost bare already. i don't think they're going to still be open by the end of the week, pretty sure he'll be out of a job.

he's been looking already and applied for some other jobs just incase.
