Right you get a few chips, put them in a bread roll - what do you get??

Not according to n/h(nob head - my endearing term to him lol)
Apparently is a chip MUFFIN WTF???

He says its a northern thing (as he's a northerner)

What do you call it??
 
Chip Sarnie......just to be difficult.....if not a sarnie then its a butty. But normally a Bacon Butty and a Chip sarnie :D
 
Chip buttie! I am northern(ish) and I have never heard it being called a chip muffin :?

I could just eat a chip BUTTIE now! :rotfl:

When I lived in Liverpool you could get a chip barm, but it was on a cob (roll) not bread.

Buttie definitely :D

Im a northerner (ish) and its a buttie. Or Sandwhich if your trying to be posh lol

Guys who I work with from Wigain call it a barn/bairn however its spelt as its the teacake thing they call a barn

i say sarnie but thats with sliced bread..if u go to a chippy in liverpool u get a chip barm (its on a barmcake as opposed to sliced bread) but my hubby calls it muffin and he is from lancashire. (H also calls a bus a buzz so he is very strange...oh and a window sill is a window bottom acording to him and MIL... :lol: )

he says buzz but not window bottom

i've hear him say th'ambulance tho

and constantly its up the sturs etc hehe
