Any one know anything about child hood Apraxia?, or Sencory Intergration dysfunction? and if these 2 things are at all related..
I know apraxia is a speech delay? but What I'm wondering is has anybody's child had this and the outcome be very GREAT??
My son is 4 years old and he has been threw a roller coaster..
Last march he was diagnosed with many different things, that just blew me away, i started to get concerned about him because he was a 1 years old and 9 months, and he had not started walking, so seeked out higher then his PCP (primary care physicain)
Any way he was diagnosed Apraxia, sencory intergration dysfunction, mild form cp, but he is completely normal you would never be able to tell, he just cant talk.
Then dec 12 2005 he had a seizure, hospital said go home febrile seizure..
I was like wow ok..
Then he had another one 2 weeks later, hospital said same thing..
he had another one i took him to a different hospital, they took him ASAP, and his O2 (oxygen) level started to go down, finally long story short, UC davis diagnosed him Rolandic Epilepsy..
Any way I'm just concerned about him talking and want to know if anyone knows about a positive or negative outcome??
