Chemical pregnancy?

My sister found out she was pregnant a couple of weeks ago she had a couple of positive tests but they are now negative, she went to the doctors and from what shes told me hes said he doesnt think shes pregnant any more, but she told me she knows its still alive! Im worried shes in denial! If the tests are now negative shes cant be pregnant anymore can she? She says the doctor is sending her for a scan but doesnt know when, so at least that should confirm it for her!

I am worried though that she seems very confused she told me she was having scan wednesday turned out she was having an ecg done and had got confused, when she told me she had been to the doctors and doctor had told her he thought baby had died and they needed to check if she needed a d & c she seemed to know and accept she was no longer pregnant now shes saying she knows baby is alive

The worst thing (and possibly reason for her confusion) she does coke and pills although she says shes given up the pills and is trying to give up the coke and hasnt done it for a week (so still when she thought she was pregnant!) I sway between being so angry with her and feeling shes brought this on herself and feeling sorry for her and dont know how best to help!

omg i cant imagine wots she must be goin through. i guess the only thing can do as a friend is just be there for when she needs you. just let her believe wot she needs to belive. how far along was she? because doctors tests are accurate, but if it was early in the PG some tests dont pick it up. (my mum was 6months PG with twins when she got a positive even the doctors sed she wasnt PG lol)

I dont know how far along she is like I said she was having positive results then they stopped being positive and have been negative since! I tried to ask her if all tests shes done have been same as some are more sensitive then other but didnt get an answer, I am seeing her at weekend so will ask again.

Wow 6 months with twins what a shock was she not showing?

I'm not sure about this sort of stuff because I have never been through it but after you loose a baby wouldn't you still get a positive pg test because you still have the pregnancy hormones in your body? I don't know how long it takes for them to get back to normal but i'm sure it isnt straight away.

Sorry havent had chance to update sooner my mum had my sister do a digital test at weekend which said 'not pregnant' think she is letting it sink in now, am keeping everything crossed she doesnt try again until she has sorted herself out!
