Can anyone help me. I have a real bad craving for hines cheesecake, so i went to iceland and got 2 buy one get one free  .
now im told i shouldnt have it with being pregnant :wall: ! is this true?
urgent reply needed as it looks to good

I thought it was just homemade cheesecake but dont quote me on that!!

Oh I hope so, otherwise Ill have to sit and watch as my OH and son sit and eat it!!

I want to know the same thing, i love cheesecake and had a piece the other day but it wasn't till after until i realised i might not be able to have it.

I got told its becouse of the soft cheese
but the bought ones are only about 4%

i think it depends on the soft cheese used, don't really know myself but i have heard it. Might have a quick look on google!

just had a look and i think it's fine as long as it isn't homemade (like we can't eat homemade ice cream, mayo ect)

Yeah, midwife told me shop bought cheesecake was fine to eat, just not home made, so get stuck in!!

thought this thread needs a picture to tickle those taste buds lol

I had cheesecake from M&S and it was fine. I think you have to watch they haven't used raw eggs :)

You'll be fine. The rules on soft cheeses only really apply to the unpasteurised kind and those aren't the ones cheesecake are made from.

Tuck in and enjoy!! Mmmmmm....my favourites lemon. What's yours?

I got told of by my midwife for eating tesco toffee cheesecake, thats to do with the cheese in it!sometimes you cant help it though!

Yeah, I think as long as it's pasteurised you're laughing.
Can I have a slice please?!

let mi now add my two pence worth, I heard that you are only allowed cooked cheese cake - hence why I haven't been eating any and my OH has :? . Again something to do with eggs or the unpasterised cheeses. Still one mans loss another mans gain - Tesco finest do an amasing chocolate tart, you can either get 2 little ones or if your feeling some what more peckish you can get the super size all to yourself!!!!!

I like the Hinez strawbery and the lemon so creamy and nice. yummm!
I only had a small slice let OH and son finish it of!
But I have another hiden at the back of the freezer
