cervix length?

Mine was measured yesterday at shortest 2.4cm longest 3cm Consultant didn't seem too worried but being rescanned in 2 weeks really worried since googling this seems really short does anyone have any experience of this? X

Hiya butterfly. I had cervix shortening with my last term pregnancy. I was 21wks when I was given high levels of progesterone an complete bed rest,however I cannot remember the length....sorry,all I know was it was dangerously short hence the above....good news was I got to 34wks and had a healthy happy bubba.
I take it you are getting it measured because you have a stitch? If they were worried or concerned I am sure they would have put a preventative in.

Sounds like good lengths to me hun mine were about the same and didn't need further scanning after 20w
