cerelle withdrawal bleed question

Hi ladies, I've been on cerelle for a while now but looking to start ttc next month after my honeymoon

I've hated the pill it's made me very moody and can't wait to be off it. I do still get a very light period when on the pill which I think is coming tomorrow or Wednesday which is great as my honeymoon starts next Tuesday. my pill packet run a out on Friday so while I'd like to take it until then am I then likely to get a withdrawal bleed while on holidays?

because if that's the case I'll start a new pack and take it for another two weeks so that I don't bleed while I'm away but I'd really rather stop

hope this makes sense I don't have the biggest understanding of withdrawal bleeds

Hi, when you stop your packet how long does it usually take for the withdrawal bleed to occur? Or do you take the pill back to back without a break?

no break in taking my packs, I've had periods they've just been irregular, it just so happens that the end of the pack basically coincides with period this month

I see. Yes, you'd run the risk of the withdrawal bleed whilst on honeymoon. It might be different with the pill but I had my coil out on a Thurs and had the withdrawal bleed on the Mon or Tues for a few days. So it can take a few days before the body realises what's going on. Enjoy your honeymoon! x
