Cats and Fish Tanks

I had to set up an old fish tank at the weekend to house the goldfish my daughter won at the fair. The best place to put it was on the hatch between the living room and kitchen. This is the cats domain! You would think I had put it there for their own personal entertainment. Kind of like a live entertainment unit for cats :crazy: When they're not avidly viewing the tank, one of them is asleep on top of it, enjoying the heat from the lights!

I have a fish tank too, but strangely the cats have never shown even the tiniest bit of interest in it!

Maybe if it had pouches of whiskas swimming about in it things would be different!

These pics really made me smile, cats rock!!!

I remember having a fish bowl as a child. My cat, Tigger, managed to scoop the fish out of it. He didn't know what to do with it when it was wiggling on the floor, my mum rescued it quickly...phew

Whenever my cat sits gawking at the fish they always hide under a plant looking terrefied. My last lot of fish (that died ) were not bothered by the cat, the cat would stare at them and the fish would sit on the other side staring back
