I just found a large caterpillar in the brocolli I was cooking. I had been steaming it and then went to drain it and there was this weird looking creature lying there all stiff and dead. It was pale green but you it had suckers and eyes and everything. I washed the brocolli thoroughly so I don't know where it could have been hiding. I feel sick now. Lucky I saw it before I put it on a plate! :puke:

My OH said "its protein, good for you" :?

EW

I always worry about that with brocolli, there's so much of it you don't ever see...you just put it in your mouth :puke:

God! i did the exact same thing once but i had boiled the creepy critter before i noticed.

Time to worry is when you find half a caterpiller in your broccoli :puke:

:puke: thats gross...

i noticed loads of cobwebs all over my grapes

i had only just brought them

would be worse if it was half a worm as both halfs would be wiggling.

That is gross...You pay for it, it could at least be clean!

I grow my own tomatoes and went to water them the other day and found a spider must have nested near by as the top of the one plant was covered in webs with lots of tiny baby spiders on.

The poor little critters got sprayed and are no longer on this earth lol

Aww how cruel, I love spiders, wouldn't like to eat them though, nor caterpillars for that matter but I bet they're nice dipped in salad cream.
